The Cityscape Exhibit Opening Reception

On February 2nd I had the opening reception of my Cityscape exhibit at Cafe Koi.  For the past three years I’ve been working on a personal project of fine art photography depicting the urban landscape.  Structures such as the Golden Gate Bridge, Seattle Space Needle and the Toronto subway system are featured in this on-going project.  Click here to see some of the work. Photos by Daniel F. Liu.  Check out his facebook page for his work.  Thanks Daniel for the cool photos!

I auctioned off two signed limited edition framed prints.  All the  proceeds went to the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada.  Thanks to Chris Blanchard and David Hansen for winning the auction.  We were able to raise $240 for the MS Society of Canada.  If you’d like to make a donation click here.

Cafe Koi is an amazing cafe that serves excellent food from Chef Philip Wong.  They hold events and show art which is a such a gem to have in the community.  Definitely check out Cafe Koi.  Their menu will keep you coming back for sure.  David Stockdale provided his sweet style of house to keep the mood going the  whole evening.  Check him out at Cafe Koi with Beats on the Street this Friday Feb 11th, 2011.  Thanks Dave for the great music!

I ran into so many old and new friends.  It was the highlight of the night for me to catch up and chat with some of you.  Thanks so much for coming!  And big thanks to Mabuhay Calgary for coming in for a quick interview.
