Hungry Planet: What the World Eats is a photo book project first published in 2007.  Peter Menzel and Faith D’Aluisio traveled around the world to research what families ate, how they cooked and the costs of their food for one week.  As of this year, the book is just about a decade old; it seems more relevant today than it has ever been.
