Once in awhile I do some house ads for the newspaper Mabuhay Calgary. This one had to be themed for St. Patrick’s Day and have a Filipino twist to it. It proved to be quite challenging to come up with an idea so I enlisted the help of the editor to help me out. She started listing out Filipino foods that were green.
Here we have a Filipino rice cake dessert called Pandan. I used a simple video light overhead to illuminate the plate and threw a shamrock over top. HAPPY ST. PATRICK’S DAY!
