Boy what a hectic summer! One of my favourite weddings of this year (heck they’re all my favourite!) was back in July. Looking back I remember how hot the day began. It must have been 20 DegC at 10am. We arrived at Dave’s to be greeted with a row of Volkswagens. As you’ll see throughout the photos the theme for the wedding was “Das Auto”!
Tina’s sister Teresa was her maid of honour. Hotel Arts was the setting for Tina and Teresa to get ready. Naim Malik, the manager at the hotel was the best to work with as usual. Tina was looking beautiful as always so she didn’t need much time to get ready. Actually I think it has got to be the quickest I’ve seen a bride get ready before because she had her hair and makeup already done before we got there! Once she had her dress we were off to the races. Noel and I had so many fun ideas we wish we had more time at Hotel Arts. Tina was glowing with excitement and was stunning! The ceremony was held at Reader Rock Park in downtown Calgary. The music was courtesy of Jason from Dance! Shout! Productions. He did an awesome job with the music in the outdoor setting. Before the evening reception the wedding party made a quick stop for burgers and shakes at Peter’s Drive Inn. The evening continued at Cafe Koi with Jon Delerious at the decks. Cafe Koi was the perfect setting suited to end the night with good food, good friends and good times. Congratulations Tina & Dave!
