This image was from a music festival called Shambhala that I have been shooting for the past couple of years. 2014 was my fifth year there. It’s moments like these that make me go back. I still remember this moment well. We were getting ready at our camp when I saw just the slight sliver of the moon. I rushed to get my equipment that was in my car. In the 20-30 seconds it took me to get my equipment and slap on my 70-200mm f2.8 the moon had already moved, so much it was almost over the horizon. It made me realize, life moves so fast, we need to enjoy every moment we have. If we only look for the sunrise we’ll miss the moon. Happy Halloween everybody!
