Analogue 101 – Introduction to SLR Photography & the Darkroom

UAS is presenting… Analogue 101: Introduction to SLR Photography and the Darkroom with Hakan Temucin

Monday evenings from 6:30PM-9:00PM:
July 7th, July 14th, July 28th, August 4th, August 11th & August 18th

This six week class will introduce students to the technical aspects of black and white darkroom photography and will include:

-an introduction to 35mm SLR film photography
-black and white film developing
-contact printing
-negative printing process

Participants are asked to bring a 35mm camera and a roll of ilford black and white film to the first class. Chemistry will be provided, but students are asked to bring their own paper.

Students will receive access to the Untitled Black & White Darkroom throughout the duration of the course to continue their experimentation and education outside of the classroom.
