How Not to Clean Your Camera After Burning Man

After coming back from Burning Man last year and again this year I’ve had to clean my camera pretty thoroughly.  This hilarious video is of course a joke so don’t try this at home!

The best way to keep your DSLR camera clean in a dusty environment like Burning Man is to not use it at all!  For most of my time shooting I would use my Fuji X30 which is a very good manual point and shoot camera.  It has a fixed, manual zoom lens so dust getting into the sensor wasn’t too much of an issue.
