I’ve visited Glacier National Park a few times. Each time I go I come back breathless. This past weekend on the way to Missoula we drove the Going to the Sun highway from the St. Mary’s entrance. I’ll be in Missoula for a week long photography workshop.
If you ever needed an excuse to have a wide angle lens then look no further. Go visit Glacier National Park and you’ll see why a wide angle lens is a must. These images were taken with my Nikon D800 and my Fuji X10 (Pano mode). Can you tell the difference?

Mt. Reynolds 9235ft (2781m) on the left and Mt. Clements 8760ft (2670m) on the right. I’m convinced the glacier on Mt. Reynolds is shaped like a mustache. Why else would it be called Reynolds?
Our friend Natalie treated us to a tour of her favourite spot in the park, Many Glacier. We had drinks on the balcony. The moon is rising just along the mountain peak.
I’m now in Missoula for a week and I’ve already started thinking about our return trip to Calgary through Glacier.
