Flooding in Alberta
Last month my home province was hit with the worst flooding in history. Hundreds of thousands of people were displaced from their homes.
Canadian Red Cross Alberta Floods
I put a call out that I would donate 25% of all my print sales in July to the Canadian Red Cross Alberta Floods relief program. Everyone donating $20 or more to the CRC is issued a tax receipt. I’m happy to say that so far we have raised almost $600 (as of July 22nd, 2013). Our goal was to raise $1000. We are almost there but we need one last push.
Donation by Voting
I will donate the proceeds from the latest JPG photo contest if we win. If you vote you’ll get a share of the donation. JPG Magazine is an online magazine of almost 300,000 photographers that share their images and stories. A great thing about this website is that the public decides who wins photo contests. The current first prize pot is over $3700.
